hi everyone merry xmas to u all :), now down to business, on 19/08/11 i bought a car from a garage on finance.i could mot drive the car until 25/08/11 due to waiting for insurance documents so could tax the car. on 25/08/11 i realised i had been sold a very dodgy car so i phoned both the garage and finance comanys and told them i no longer wanted the car as it was faulty and dangerous. to date it has had the following done to it, new heater plugs, turbo repaired, new starter motor, new altinator, new fly wheel, new clutch, new duel clutch electronic hand brake and now is in the garage with an problem with the oil getting in the engine coolant. as i am aware it is the aftersales team for the garage that is paying for the repairs. i also know there is a problem with the gear box :) i have wrote to them and on every phone call said i dont want the car and i want my money back. the most reicent problam (oil in coolant) started on 19/10/11 has been into the garage twice at halfords and once at vw but have not found the cause of the problem so now i have to wait until 23/12/11 for halfords to collect car from vw then drive it for a few days and c if thr problem reocurs. can someone please tell me where i stand with this. thanks for reading this and again merry xmas to ya :)

yes i have on the 5 times the car has been in garage i have aske to end cotract but they are been guided by what the garage wants to do :(
In what way do you consider the finance company are 'ripping you off' and why do you believe they are responsible for the condition of the vehicle that you purchased?
Did you get the car checked out, e.g. by RAC, before you bought it? Did you not yget any guarantees that certain parts were in working order?

It's not the fault of the finance company, they are lending you the money you asked for.

Have you tried Trading Standards?
