Charity problems
I applied to a small charity which has funding for special needs children for a laptop and i sent all required info .Since applying in mid December i have virtually heard nothing from them -( not even acknowledgment letter). I was told (after great difficulty getting hold of person running applications)trustees would decide my application on 17th jan - but i heard nothing.i have left answer messages -no calls are returned. I contacted application person again and was told he would contact me next day - that was over 2 weeks a go and i have heard nothing - again
This is a legit charity and not a scam - but i do not wish to name it , but i am getting rather fed up - much as it pains me to criticise a charity should i report them to charity commission? -although i am worried the charity may then reject my laptop request
So far the only request of mine they have actually achieved is posting out the appliaction form!

the main 3.
The last, desperate and pitiful tactics employed by someone, who has totally lost the argument and knows it....
1. Attempt to undermine the person state of mind with a puerile and unfounded comment
2. Thinly veiled threats, of the 'don't mess with me' variety...laughably expected to terrify...
3. over the top sarcasm and a terrible attempt at wit, designed to imply that you don't care anymore and that the person is somehow insane...(Little bonus here with the added fake offers of sympathy and pity).
it is me who pities you..and that is not sarcasm
its all very predictable...and pointless... you are what you are ...sadly
i wont even go into how you have tried to defend yourself with comments on the charities that do life saving and important work, as though that is some how relevant.
giving away non-essential freebies, to help those less fortunate is not the same thing.
you and your son would LIKE a laptop - he does not NEED one...he will not die or suffer without it.
what actually is wrong with him...maybe they feel his condition is not a priority one...?

due to limited supplies, whether you get one or not will be based on 2 main things... whether your son deserves one, and yours and your partners incomes...
they may feel you earn enough to be able to buy him one...
also it will probably be whether your sons condition will be helped by having one, such as if he is housebound or wheelchair bound or something.
if they have plenty they may just give it to help with schoolwork etc .... but i doubt they have plenty...they will be old refurbished models.
