Can anyone reccommend books on PROPERTY law which have sample legal notices such as Notice to quit,chapters on when one has to obtain a Court Order and when it is not required.

Well OK you re the fella with the garages -
I use: Guide to letting property - Sproston - ISBN 1-900694 - 05 - 0
I think that is the short no
and
Landlord and Tenant - Wilkie and Cole - ISBN 0 333 79428 - 1

Your own problemm is pretty specialised
and I think, considering you have a batch it may be worth paying for advice on the first case
however
I think you should assume your lease is short hold assured
issue a s21 notice requiring possession
and accept you have to get a court order

your real problem is to get the tenant out
and really not anythinng else

its not really property law but landlord and tenant
which is why you cant access books to your taste

For Property - I recommend Gray - Landlaw
only because he was a bright fella in my year in 1973
big book lots of pages, and yo will come out the other side knowing an awful lot about Land Law which you wont find much use.

Thanks peterpendant but I don't have assured shorthold tenancies just common law tenancies. I'm going to try and obtain sample wording from Self storage companies such as Big Yellow etc.

I dont know anything about Property Law but at work they use Butterworth.
