When making a claim for a fall at an event is the claim made against the event organizer or is the claim made against the owner of the rented premises where the event took place.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The reason for asking is that an occupier is liable for injury caused by defects to his land or buildings; that would be the landlord, and suing the organiser would be difficult; but if the fall is something caused by the organisers' negligence and failing to take proper care for the safety of customers, the landlord isn't liable but the organiser is.
