Hello..
I'm not sure what to do in this situation..
I bought a pair of Timberland shoes from a business seller on eBay..
Yes, I wore them and was amazed after only two weeks the tread had worn through, the stitching was becoming loose...after paying a lot of money I expected them to last a lot longer..I contacted the seller who refused to refund or replace...I contacted eBay and they basically sided with the seller and now I'm without shoes and have lost money...can I do anything about it?

What happened exactly? Did you ask to return the shoes for a refund?

Sounds to me like they are moody, I have had Timberland shoes in the past and have found them to be good quality.
I'd do as bednobs say's and report them to trading standards, they'll soon know if there moody or not.

1. Report the business as possibly selling fake goods (and/or check whether that business is an authorised retailer) here:

2. Assuming that the seller is in the UK, send a formal written demand for compensation by recorded delivery, along the following lines:

On [date of order] I purchased a pair of Timberland shoes from your website for the sum of [price of boots plus postage], including carriage. Within two weeks of receiving them it became apparent that the shoes were NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE as the soles had worn through and the stitching was becoming loose. I therefore DEMAND full compensation under the rights granted to me by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.

TAKE NOTICE that, if the aforementioned sum is not paid to me within 14 days of receipt of this letter I will commence legal proceedings via H M Courts and Tribunals online service.

Looks like they are fake Timberland. Contact eBay and tell them that you suspect the seller is dealing in fakes. I can't see why they 'sided with the seller' eBay are very hot on people who try to sell fake goods.
when you contacted eBay did you actually say that you thought the goods were fake?
