I went to QPR games on Saturday's starting at 2.15 pm any idea why?

Could it have been to remove the need to use floodlights?

Somebody had to!!
I'm not sure it's a Legal matter but maybe it was to stagger kick off times in that area of London to avoid congestion.
Maybe because you hoped to miss the match ?
Maybe it was also during the miners strike so floodlights couldn't be used/relied upon

Was it so Stan Bowles and co could get to the pub for teatime opening?
Possibly as a result of train drivers/bus drivers working to rule; early kick off = away to catch last bus/train.
Police probably didn't want QPR, Fulham and Chelsea playing at the same time, due to insufficient manpower.
