It's no doubt annoying, but, unless some substantial damage is done, I can't see it being declared illegal.

I was once on my way back from the shop, armed with my daily newspaper and a tin of beans. As i turned up my path, a car passed and the passenger threw an egg at me from the open window. The egg broke on my arm, splashing it's contents all over the newspaper. Instinctively i threw the tin of beans at the rear of the car, smashing the rear windscreen. The car did not stop - wonder why? I know it doesn't answer your question, Ric.ror - just thought i'd impart that l tale of instant karma.

I would think that as the egg could possibly damage/scratch the vehicle's paintwork, it would be an act of vandalism?

An egg was once thrown at my car. I was driving past a public park, and one or two children were skulking behind the park wall. One of them threw an egg, which hit my car. When I had a look at the impact area, there were one or two tiny scratches from the shell, nothing more.

I thought about throwing some bird seed but I doubt it will be there long enough for a flock of gulls to descend and defecate on it

Ah! So, Ric, you're annoyed because the car is parked where it is, right? I once saw a housewife empty a teapot full of tealeaves over any car that was parked outside her house. No damage, but much annoyance.

On this occasion it was an able bodied woman who pulled up and parked in the pick up area of the car park not the disabled bay but it is not for bone idle folk to park because the can’t be bothered to walk

Yes - everything is completely clear
She clearly didn’t think the rules applied to her
It wasn’t as though she was just bobbing in for the lottery because I was waiting quite a while and she didn’t come out
In fact my own lift had to pull up in an ordinary bay because there was no room at the pick up point
