This is precisely why you need a solicitor.

Your husband could claim that you have been able to accumulate the savings only because he has been supporting or maintaining you for the past three years.
As you are not yet divorced, then when it comes time to divorce all the assets and debts of the marriage are put into the 'pot' and so you will have to declare those savings. Then when you divorce you will have to agree with your husband who gets what, or if you can't agree then the Court will decide, however the lawyers get a nice chunk while you are arguing. I agree with Ethel you need a solicitor.
buy a car or some thing for 2,000 thats worth 200 off a friend and let them use it so to speak, get rid of your money and wait till its all over then get your momey back, good luck
yes i think he would be if you have any children i would open a bank account for them. he cant take the money of them can he! or a parent close friend.. if he isnt currently aware of your savings i would do the above its what my ex did except that was 25 thousand. from our house sale if you have managed to save it after you split i would do all in your power to keep hold of it!
You may have to disclose your bank statement in the financial settlement which will show the transactions. Have a good alibi
