Can any solicitors/legal eagles help me? My ex husband has stopped paying any maintenance for one of his daughters who is 16 and in education.

Ourconsent order states that he must pay until either they are 17 or have finished full time education?

Can he do this - payments have reduced from 675 per month to 350?

Many thanks.

No he cant if she is still in full time education. You should see a solicitor.
No he shouldn't do this.

Has he given a reason why he has stopped payments? a solicitor is your best bet if you are not on speaking terms with your ex. Sometimes just one legal letter will suffice, but it may escalate into an expensive argument :o(

Good luck x

Thank you for your answers. He wont pay maintenance for one daughter as he treated her so badly, she hasnt spoken to him for 2 years.

I have taken legal advice this morning and he has to pay this money. My sol is writing a letter and then if necessary we will take him to court.

I will keep you posted - thank you again.
Good luck Sally - I hope you get everything sorted.
