Employment Grievance Meeting

Hello
In a grievance meeting at work a note taker will be taking notes, however as notes in the past have been changed but I can not prove it and that no tape recordings are allowed, can I insist that I have a photo copy of the notes taken?
Honestly the company rules and employment law make it virtually impossible for anybody to challenge there company!!!

Also, you are entitled to a copy of all allegations and statements that arise from such meetings.

you can covertly record any meeting, it is covered under Section 70 of the Police And Criminal Evidence Act (P.A.C.E), it states that someone has to be aware of the recording and someone must consent, that person is you.
My advice would be to do this but also take a friend or union rep, don`t tell them about the tape.
I used this in a dispute with a previous employer and they pooed themselves when it went to tribunral.
