on are deeds, it say's that the house next door has access down the side of are house and through are garden to gain access by foot or with wheel barrow, this is a old agreement from previous owners. this right is not being used right they are coming through with a bike 2/4 times a day and taking there bins out as well. we have 3 dogs and dont want them getting out through the side gate . please help (uk)

I expect they still have those access rights it sounds like you are trying to stir up trouble?

as long as they are not riding a motorbike through!!

cant you just put a spring on the gate.

You obviously bought the house knowing they had these rights!

As stated on my deed we new off foot and wheel barrow access. we did not know about push bike or taking bin's. we live on a main road so the gate would be no good with a spring as dogs and 2 children would get out. we are not trying to stir up trouble.
Would it be all right if they moved the bins in a wheelbarrow then?
