Me and my Ex-Partner own a property, which since our split in November last year he moved out and I have lived in it with our two children and have been paying the mortgage by myself.

We are now having a meeting next week to discuss what to do about it and have no idea what my rights are!!

If I did not sell the house am I entitled to stay there with the children?? and If so is there anything I can do to register that he is no longer contributing towards the mortgage so If it was sold at a later date he would not get half??

The problem I have is I am struggling to get a mortgage just in my name to cover the amount for the mortgage and to be able to pay him off at the same time because of my income.

My parents put down 11500 as a deposit when we first bought the house. If I decided to sell the house is he entitled to half of that money?? Is there anything I can do??

Are you using the word partner generically or to mean that you weren't married? Your rights, such as they are, will differ according to the answer, and will be considerably more in some respects if you were.
You need to give us more information - are you married, does he work, how long have you been together etc. Whatever you need to see a solicitor, you might not have to get a mortgage or sell the house, he may have to pay it ... but need more info
