Access to legal aid
there used to be a scheme where, for a minimal fee (about 10.00 about 12 years ago!) you could seek basic, preliminary information from a solicitor. Does this still exist? My husband is a builder, owed about 20k + 6k the client took from us as well. Trying to find out just what action we can take without incurring a whole raft of debt in the process.
