(Part 1)
It's a long story, but please bear with me. My husband has just retired from his job. A few months before he retired he kept having to ask for figures of lump sum and monthly pension. 2 days before he left (he had to take leave before actual retirement date) he was given the figures, in writing. When his first months pension failed to be paid on 1st October into his bank account, he rang the finance department and was told to leave his number and that someone from the pensions department would get in touch. When they telephoned he was told they had made a mistake and that his pension was actually �11K less than they had originally told him.
