Does regular (every 3 months) inspection by landlord comply to legal (statutory) regulations?
1 Answers
My landlord wrote regular (every 3 months) inspections to my flat in the tenancy agreement. The agreement is between the landlord and me, but no estate agent involved.
Does it comply to legal (statutory) regulations? Do I need to accept it?
Although I have had many landlords/landladies in the past none of them did it. This requirement makes me anxious as I feel interfering with my flat while I am renting.
I have seen some websites for landlords suggesting 3 months interval inspection...but still I am not happy about it.
Can anyone give me any advice, please.

He may do them 3 monthly for a while and then WHEN you prove to him you are trustworthy then he may extend it to half yearly.
How would it interefeer with your 'enjoyment' of the flat?
