in a will (after the person has died),can property held in trust for children be changed to add omitted grandson (variation of trust).???

If minor beneficiaries' shares are going to be changed in any way, the approval of the court will be required under the Variation of Trusts Act 1958. There is no way round this. The minor beneficiaries will have to be represented separately by a litigation friend or Official solicitor. It is also rare for the court to cut down the shares of minor beneficiaries. Take some legal advice.
