retrieving my vehicle from my ex
me and my ex split up over a month ago , we were not married just living together, which the tenancy agreement was in her name, a vehicle of mine is in the garage which is registered to me and purchased by me( i have all docs to prove this) she will not let me on the property to get the vehicle unless i give her 2grand, the police have been involved and say this is a civil matter, and if i go on the property again she can do me for trespassing,

I don't know the value of the car, but depending on the amount, set a deadline by which she must have allowed access to collect the car (or arranged for its retrieval) or you will start legal proceedings against her for the value of the car.
Not knowing the cost of the car, i cant say whether this would fall under small claims court or not, but you can look it up. Either way, the letter might be enough to sort her out.

she is saying that i owe her 2 grand from previouse things she has bought me over the 4 years we were together, the vehicle is a brand new road legal quad bike which she doesnt no how to ride, i was told by the police that if i remove it i can be done for criminal damage and will get a criminal record which i cant aford cos my plans now are to move away , there is no finance on the bike just a unsecoured personal loan that i took out for it,
