You need to report it to the Bank and possibly the Police as fraud.

Do you know who took the loan out? It seems strange that they have enough info to not only open the loan account but also have your cheque book and can forge a decent enough signature to take large amounts of cash out.

My hand bag had been stolen at the airport with my dirvers licence and passport in it - both have my signature on them, also was a cheque book with my bank details. I did cancel the cheque book, but a lot of months later another cheque book went missing and it wasn't until after this had all happened that I realised that it was teh missing hceque book that had been used, by the way my signature is a very easy one to copy. My bank already know now about it as I had to get them to look into the 2 cheques that were used.
