does anyone know if I am entitled to a paid break if I work 6hrs? thanks

No. The law states you are entitled to a 20 min break if you work more than 6 hours.
Unless their contract specifically states otherwise, nobody is ever entitled to a paid break.

Further, the only statutory entitlement that an adult worker has to an (unpaid) break is for a single break of 20 minutes if they work over 6 hours.
