Parking in apartment spaces

I live in a block of apartments. Each apartment is also the legal owner of an allocated parking space. There are also some labelled visitor spaces. I pay a service charge each year which also pays towards the upkeep of this parking area. Residents from houses near by are parking in the spaces. Not just the visitor spaces but others as well. I have spoken to the developers but they have done nothing. It is so frustrating as I would not park in front of their house and also it is preventing visitors who are seeing me from parking. Is there anything I can do?!

You could band together with the other flat owners and hire a parking enforcement company who would need to erect the required signs and issue parking permits to the residents.
Me and my ex had this problem too and ours was in an underground car parking with fey fob entry only!

Apparently people who used to live there would let themselves into the building and open the garage shutters from the inside as they kept the same code for the main door. It would get especially bad around Christmas as it was a useful city centre spot.

We had signs up about clamping but they never did any good and even when we'd try and ring the clampers they would never come out.

In the end people started bying these mini bollards which lock up and down. Bit of a faff but stops people stealing your space.

Thanks very much for the answers and giving up your time. Now someone keeps parking in my actual parking space... I may have to buy a bollard! Thanks again.
