me and my x partner have agreed on a settlement but now i have too put a legal charge against the property that we both lived in as he wont be able to pay me out till 2015 we went through meditation to do this but now they say for the legal charge it will be around £600 is there a way of doing this cheaper ? and if so how

I would strongly advise you to seek advice from your local citzen's advice or asking a solicitor if you are entitled to legal aid, if so, then a solicitor trained in housing law will be able to provide you with a answer.
