During the period of suspension, basic pay will be payable. Not average overtime or bonuses or any other add-ons.
Removing someone out of the business for another 5 weeks when misconduct is adjudged to have occurred sounds very odd to me. The 'penalty' is more normally a written warning. If they are going to do it (and I'm not saying they are acting reasonably), then I would expect any period of suspension to be on basic pay once again. They cannot normally 'lay off' a person in this manner without paying basic pay.
