Punched in face by a drunk who also had a key as a weapon

Hi can anyone help.
Recently I attended a garden party, when I arrived aftervsorting out , my children which was after 8pm every body apart from myself and husband were very intoxicated.
After entering a lady whom I had never seen, thought she had seen me before. We spoke amicably and realised I had passedvher in thebstreet once with my dog.

I was asked to leave, as the home owners daughter, thought I was being funny, so myself,nhusband and his friend left.
We returned to mynhusbands friends house, I sat in a chair in the garden and opened my 1st beer! Within 10 minutes this lady had burst into my friends back garden And grabbed my hair, pulled my head up and hit me in the eye, with a key between her fingers! I have a black eye and a nasty cut!

I have made a statement to the police! What offense is this? And will the CPS take it on! I believe she is well known to the police and has previous, although I am unsure what I think drug offences and she has lost her children although she is fighting for them back??
