MY SON IS CHARGED WITH ABH ON A WOMAN. HE HAS ONE PREVIOUS CAUTION. HE IS VERY REMORSEFUL AND IS PLEADING GUILTY. WILL HE GO TO PRISON?

As long as both 'harm' and 'culpability' are assessed as 'low', no he won't. If they're both 'high', yes he will. Otherwise 'possibly'. See page 12 here for an explanation:

sorry sbout that I was saying I doubt it but he will have to undergo some form of awareness course organised by the probation service and\or a fine

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR ANSWERS. JUST ONE MORE, DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE PUT BACK FOR REPORTS WHEN HE PLEADS GUILTY ON THURSDAY AT CROWN COURT?

Hi, asked about my son being sentenced for abh last week. Case put back for probation report. Barrister has said to tell work and ask for a boss to come and give character evidence. Will he be sacked once he tells them or do you think he will keep his job?
