You would have a problem if it was listed as a knife, but under 'Collectibles' and then under the sub heading 'Military items' or 'Militaria' it would be ok.
Alternately sell it on ebay USA , you can list anything there , there was a fully working cannon a while back. UK registered eBayers can list in the USA .
I once listed a Doctor Blade which is a device to lay down a coating of ink, ebay warned me that a blade was not acceptable so I re-listed it as an ink coating bar and sold it.
If you do ebay it make sure you list internationally and use the option for USA & Canada visibility , that is where the market is for that type of stuff.
I would just list it as ''WWII German Officer Memorabilia'' and put a good photo , do not mention the word dagger or knife.

Just looked on ebay and this is the category to use, just describe it as Dress adornment with a good photo and as I said make sure you list so that it can be seen in the USA.

I wouldn't use ebay as they are very touchy both about knives and Nazi regalia. Unpallettable though it is I'd trawl the internet and post on some suitably interested message board what you have- you'll get a better price, no hassle from ebay or Ebay members and it ought to be all over quicker.

Nox there is stacks of Nazi stuff on ebay, there is even a special category for it , the one the item in my link is in. It does not mention the word 'Nazi' just calls it 'German World War 2 memorabilia.'

You can only sell certain WWI German memorobilia on ebay Eddie and it's not the best place to sell it either experience wise or price wise, the poster will honestly get a lot more if they go elsewhere and Ebay do frquently pull certian items relating to the Third Reich whenever the fancy takes them.

Never said it wasn't ummmm, it just feels wrong to make a profit from things such as these. I dunno, maybe i'm just being weird, it's way I feel though.

My wife and daughters are Jewish Boo as you probably know, and we've had endless discussions about the ethics of trading Nazi material and her viewpoint is that if it goes to a legitimate collector then fine it's simply an historical artifact and is treated as such or if it goes to some Nazi sympathiser thug the more money that can be taken off that person then the happier she is. Make the morons pay.
