About four years ago I refused an unsolicited offer to buy GB postage stamps at a discount, with postmarks chemically cleaned off.
The person now trades as a stamp seller on e-bay.
What to do?

He may be a reformed character in which case if you were to air your views and name and shame him you leave yourself liable to slander/libel laws.

If he does trade on E-bay and deals in dodgy stamps I'm sure the buyers will soon sus him and take the appropriate action.
im sorry you have been put in this position but you must know the right answer deep down because other wise you wouldnt post a question of morals.
Ebay have an excellent reputation that they do not want to smear. Ask them to look into it ( you can do this annoymously) they dont tell you the result or go into how if anything they find.
But would you want to know if you wanted to buy something from someone was possibly doing dodgey dealings? perhaps lose hard, well earned money. and be deceived NO DIDNT THINK SO... contact ebay go onto their complaints section and report it, if nothing is wrong well you didnt do any harm but if it was you saved lots of people heartache and money.
