speeding offence

i got 3 points early on in 2006 , i was doing 61 mph in a goods vehicle for which i recieved a nip , i dutifully signed this and sent it back with my licence , on recieving it back i realized that the wrong code for the speeding had been put on my licence , where do i stand with this ? will i able to have this removed or at the very least changed ..........thanks

Contact the DVLA and tell them your problem they should change your license so it tells the truth.
