GBH 20 or 18?? Any1 up for challange
0 Answers
me and my m8 were involved in a fight, victim got fractured jaw and bruises on face. charged sec 20 and I have since been 2 court but CPS tried sec18b'cos they say my co defendant had knife!! but my barrister negotiated and remained sec20. I went guilty on basis kicks 'n punches and i was much less aggressor in comparison to co defendant according to witnesses, CPS and my barrister. I have now got community service and suspended sentence, my co defend is now in court facing same charges of sec20, few quest:
1. Will they try to charge with sec18 instead of initial sec 20? No independent witness to knife but a "friend" of victim is now claiming there was one
2. Will my sentence reflect on him. 3. Will my case effect his case (me accusing him of main aggressor)
