norman the dog that was a lil bit of a silly answer...have some sympathy for people who are traumatised about their 15 year old son getting stabbed and two inches away from DEATH...... i asked people for an answer im worried about my son and his father...you dont get life for vigalante accidents..
how is vigilanteeism and accident?

bednobs i dont mean it was an accident i rephrase it, when you have children and you act on true feelings things are done on spare of moment,it might be a sad thing to react on feelings but children are your life..Damiloa Taylor was murdered in cold blood by a stab wound from a piece of glass in his leg,if his parents could have got to the child who killed their son they could have reacted in a certain way..i feel so sorry for his parents they have to live with it all their lives..that could have been my husband and myself, fortunatly it didnt happen..who no's what we could have been feeling now..thank god..the boy who stabbed him have he done it before?? no one know's because this time he was caught but how can a boy walk around with a 5inch blade in his pocket ?? was it by accident he stabbed someone?? would have it been an accident if he killed some one?? my feelings differ on alot of questions and answers..why??? vigalantism is not so much an accident but feelings goin on at a spare of the moment incident...i sure to god dont believe in violence but the state my son was in that night im a little lady and i wanted to get the culprit and do what ever my mind was thinking that night..wouldn't you??? if you have children you might understand..
i don't really understand to be honest, but i guess that dosent help you in your awful situation. When is your husband going to court? when will you find out?
You can get up to 5 years. It all depends upon previous convictions etc. However an ipp can also still be imposed if the offence is serious.
The average sentence i believe for a section 20 is around 2 years.
