i was assulted by a person i know how long can i wait to tell the police because i'am 50/50 to get this person done for the harm he has done to me . so what is the time i can phone them up and get him arrested

You should have done it straight away.

You can't be 50/50 either they assulted or you weren't.

I agree with Dave, why on earth are you asking us how long you can wait to report him. If someone really has assuaulted you then you should report them straight away. If you leave it too long, the Police will want to know why you didn't report it sooner.
