What educational programmes should be on offer to young offenders to enable them to gain sustainable employment upon release and not to re-offend?

If you're not already working for your local Authority, ring them & ask to speak to either the Youth Offending Team or the Children in Care Education Team (LAC Education team) - they may have different names in your Authority but they should be on the Authority website - they should be able to advise what approach they would take
