i am in court for a trail for two counts of common assault 1 on a male 1 on a female i didnt do it but have no witness..i have got a previous conviction for violent disorder 3 years ago...if found guilty will i go 2 jail?
Possibly suspended prison sentence with unpaid work plus compensation seems to be the going rate these days for early guilty plea, if found guilty after trial expect higher sentence. Aggravating feature previous conviction for similar offence

But that is for a first time offender pleading guilty.
You're not a first time offender. Also as one of the victioms was a woman that may well be classed as a vulnerable victim which is an aggravating factor.
I'd suggest you get some decent legal advice from someone who can look at all the particulars it could make the difference.
They might well advise you to volunteer for something like anger management .
Sadly whether people go to gaol or not can be decided on the advise they get.
RevFunk you can be charged with offences on someone elses say so - the police.
No witnesses and no evidence did not stop them pursuing my son and his friends thru the courts for 5 months till the magistrate got cross and said they produce or all charges are thrown out.
After another months wait they withdrew charges the night before the next court appearance.
