Which US state has the highest drug crime rate?

I'm trying to find out which state in the USA has the highest rate of drug-related crimes. I can't find anything on Google unless I'm missing a trick and I really need to know for a report I'm doing. Thanks for any help.

I think that on a per capita basis then Baltimore in Maryland is considered the murder capital of the US and that most of these would be drug related. However, California is the most populous state so by just sheer number of crimes it could be there instead.......
