I was convicted in court on the 11/1109 disqualified from driving for 14 months but the letter received from dvla on saturday is in my brothers name, The court was told on the day of conviction that they had the wrong details, fined me in my name but disqualified my brother who was not even charged with the offence. This is a serious mistake by the court, in view of this what redress do i have.

Like you say, its a mistake. What redress are you looking for?.
Presumably you came to the attention of the police and courts through some driving matter. I don't see how some other person would have become involved in this. Can you give some more information?
