The police can take action against you and this could be in a youth court or magistrates/crown court.
I assume you are on bail? In this case you will have to go to the police station again where they will either charge you or take no further action.
You must speak to a lawyer. The police will not charge you if all they can prove is that you were near the area where the offence was committed.

Sara+Sumo have answered your question perfectly.
But if you could answer the few questions I have asked, you might get a more detailed answer.
- Have you been charged or are you on bail? (For section 18 wounding with intent?)
- How can the police be 100% certain you was in the area at the time of the incident?
- Was you with anybody when arrested?
- Have you got previous?
- What have you said so far .... What did the duty Solicitor say/advise?
*This is likely to be heard at a youth court.

i am only on bail at the min for the section 18 there are 3 other people involved they are 17, 17 , and 20 the police have cctv that i was round the corner i have a previous for arrson when i was 8 years old in my police interview all i said was no comment all way through it as that is wat duty solisitor said to do
im asking for help not judgement thank you yes i have done things in the past and i am really not proud either a family member had died and i took it bad. i wanted to tell the police but the duty solisitor told me to say no comment so wat i meant to say i had no part in what happened to the lad in question in this case. he was a mate so why would i want that and about this (pillar of the community) <<--- so no-one has never done anything wrong in there life what they wouldnt change if i could go back and change it a i would
