I got arrested yesterday for a incident that happened a month ago. Me and my friends assaulted someone who has just headbutted a mate of mine who was a girl, she has pressed charges aswell against him but i have now been released on bale untill further investiagtions have been complete. As i say this i my 1st offence and when i spoke to the police i admitted to hitting him in the stomach or upper leg but he has a cut lip and a bleeding nose which one of my freinds must of done.
I have to go back to the police soon but i was abit worries about what is going to happen, i dont think any of my freinds with admit to hitting him in the face so what will happen ?

Ok point taken I will check my spelling in the future. Do you have anything to comment on about my situation ?
Carlton...this isn't a spelling exam..!!

Mat......don't worry. What was your female friends injuries?
I would just apologize and say that seeing a young lady assaulted made you see red, as you were raised to protect and not harm others. Then beg the courts leniency and promise to control yourself in future. AND MEAN IT.

Her nose was bleeding badly and she had a bruse around the eye which was because of the force of the headbutt from him. Im just abit worried because when i got showed his statment against us he didnt mention the headbutt atall and he didnt mention that him and his mate came out with knifes !!!
is this really your first offence or is it the first time you have been caught?and how many of you attacked him, what will happen? in this day and age you will probably get let off with your wrist smacked.
if they came out with knives, how did you manage to get close enough to punch them?

Yes this is actually my 1st offence i am never normally voilent when i go out at all.....Obvously i would defend myself or protect my gf but in this occasion it was her mate who got assaulted me and me and my friends 4 of us reacted !
Still don't worry....

They will look at all the statements. Of course he wouldn't mention the headbutt.!!

I presume the police have photographic evidence of her injuries?

They came out with knifes threatening to use them and the other girls which were with them took em off them, then the situation started to defuse.......They he walked up to my mate who is a girl started shouting at her and she was shouting back then he headbutted her !
Softly....who cares? That's not the question.
And you hit him?
Question Author
Not to sure if they have but they do of his injuries i got showed yesterday. But still people are telling my im looking at 6months !!!...surly not for my 1st offence and the fact i was protecting a girl but the only wrong this is the fact that 3 other of my m8s were aswell ?
were there any independant witnesses (ie not girlfriends and friends) who have given statements.
Question Author
yeh i reacted and hit him in the stomach, my gf then pulled me away and i presume my freinds carried on, which resulted in his injuries to the face.
Question Author

TBH....I can't see you getting 6 months. I've seen much worse and people have got off. At most I would say you'd get community service. That's doubtful as well.
