I have been charged with ABH what will be the most likely outcome?

While out in a nightclub my friend was at the bar and a girl knocked into her, my friend and the girl then started to argue. I went over to dissovle the situation but instead the girl became threatning and threw a drink over both me and my friend. Of course i then got angry and retaliated my arguein back we were both in eachothers faces screaming, i then saw a hand come towards my face and reacted in the same way we had a scuffle but i overpowered her and she became knocked out on the floor. i was arrested and spent the night in a cell and she went to hospital, ive had knowledge that her medical reports show no damage to her skull or any other area. i also later learned that it wasnt her hand but her boyfriends. I have majestrates court tomorrow and im worried that it will be taken to crown court, its my first offence and im 19 and in university. Im worried about what the outcome will be.

you will probably get slap on hand and a fine...learn from it as wee squabbles can escalate alarmingly..especially at this time of the year.. no chance this will go to higher court,

Sounds like you decked her. Guilty. On conviction max 5 years. On summary conviction max 6 months.

if it were a scuffle with lots of folks involved any decent solicitor will argue the ... how can you be sure who knocked her out....it could even be dismissed on that basis...do NOT admit to anything !!

Theres a bouncers statement saying he saw me hit her, she was pulling my hair so i hit her :/
