ive been charged with criminal damage but was in bed?

i was arrested at 12pm for criminal damage (keying somone car) i was in bed when it happened and 3 police barged into my house and arrested me for it the kept me all night and said that my neighbour saw me doing it!! but i was in bed and my wife and child can confrim this im in court this week and i just dont no what to do how can they say they have someone who seen me when i was in bed??

There is no such time as 12am or 12pm. There is 12noon and 12 midnight. Neither of these times can be correctly described as "am" or "pm" since they are the points where am becomes pm and pm becomes am. To label them as such leads to ambiguity.

So was it 12 noon or 12 midnight?
