Albags, the PI was filming secretly. We didnt know until we were handed an edited copy today. One section of the film is a 3min sequence of my son coming and going from our house. My son has nothing to do with the compensation case other then being named as my Husband's son.

As long as the photographer is in a public place (or on his own property, or on property where the owner has given permission for photography) it's perfectly legal for anyone to photograph (using still or moving images) anything that he wants to. (There are a few limited exceptions, relating to such things as sexual voyeurism, but they're not relevant here).
If (say) someone wants to video you, or your family, while you're in your front garden or (through your windows) inside your house, they have every right to do so.
BertiWooster..lol..no hes not, its a difficult case and so they instructed a PI to observe us......we didnt know, obviously.
Buenchico, Chunkyboy & Redhelen, I cant believe that they can do that!! but i suppose its been done and theres nothing i can do, i just cant believe that they can be alowed to film my son, when its got nothing what-so-ever to do with him.
Thanks for the coments guys, much appreciated.
