Night Pay

If I getting a different hourly rate for working Sunday's i.e. 9.30pm-8.am, would that sunday rate run through till 8am monday morning or would it just be to 12pm that night. Thankyou

When in the post (not that I did it on sundays anway), there was a time we got paid a saturday premium which ran from midnight friday to midnight saturday, and ditto but a higher rate for sunday until midnight sunday night.

This is a question for your employer as it depends on your terms and conditions of employment and how the employer interprets them. Doubt if anyone on here could know what's in your T&Cs.

in my experience, the higher rate would end at midnight on sunday and then you go back to earning your weekly rate (Mon-Fri)

depends on you contract - but normally time and third for night work
