Are there any persons outside the UK have a stupid absurd system like we have in the UK? buying gas from the Electricity supplier cheaper than the gas supplier & vice versa? what system do you have in your country?

All the utilities are commodities.

Same gas/electricity/phone lines etc

all we are buying are the variations in the admin/customer services and the price they are able/prepared to offer it at.

Competition is good but there is such a thing as too much consumer choice making selection too confusing.
