I tried to remove My name from a mortgage and could'nt do this as my estranged hubby could'nt prove he could pay it on his own, he was self employed and his books were'nt to good.
My Brother still has his name on a mortgage that his ex wife and him had years ago, She pays the mortgage with the help of having a lodger but the bank wont except this as an income so wont remove his name.
