Price Match Code Law
I have received a price match code that allows me to obtain the item in question even more cheaply than the price I was looking to match (a mistake on their part). As far as I understand it the company are within their rights to request that I pay the corrent price up until the time I receive the goods, at which time the contract has been completed.
Now I have told a few friends who are also interested in cashing in on this deal. I feel a certain amount of responsibility for the accidental discovery of the deal and while it is a big company in question, I don't want them to suffer greatly and obviously don't want to have any legal ramifications directed at me.
In the terms and conditions it states 1 item can be price matched per order, but doesn't mention the quantities of that item that can be ordered. The code doesn't only work for me, but my friends could obtain their own code requesting the price match that I did, and getting the same outcome (one already has).
What's the law here? What's my moral obligation? Any advice please?
