Police Not Recording Reported Crime
I have discovered that my local police constabulary has not been recording the crimes I have reported to them over the last 12 months.
Clearly my local police force are falsifying reported crime to the Home Office (at the very least).
What can I do to force my local police constabulary to record the reported crime – I have already complained (to them and the IPCC), without success?
I am seeking definitive answers, not nonsense such as seek advice from the CAB/MP etc.
If there is no legal route to force the police to record reported crime – I would appreciate it if the legal eagles on this site, would state as much.

Are you certain what you are reporting falls in line with the police's classification for recording - that the police would classify the same as you? Difficult to know without more details.

Surely all you need to know is that I am reporting a crime (you could look up the codes yourself).
Personally it should not matter whether I report a murder or vehicle theft – the police should record the reported crime.
What I want to know is when they do not record the reported crime – what can I do legally to force them to record it – the answer appears to be nothing.

Was anything done about these crimes when you reported them? The reason I ask is maybe it doesn't count if there is no police response to your reports. (For example, if I report my neighbours for something but the police do not come out to investigate does that count or is it just logged somewhere?)
I'm sure if people thought they could give you the answer without further details that they would have done, nobody had to answer on your post or try to help.
Personally, my instinct would be to politely check whether there is any error on your part involved, hence my questions, as this could make a significant difference or any more substantive answer I might give.

Actually I will clarify that, trying to get to the reason behind the non-reporting which might shed some light. The most obvious first place to look - in my view - is in the detail. Misunderstanding might have been a better word to use than error.
For example, say what you are reporting is not, in the police's view rather than yours, classified as a recordable crime, there would be a simple answer as to why they haven't been recorded. Hence my questions.
As you are trying to work out why crimes you have reported haven't been recorded rather than asking solely about policy from a more academic point of view, this to me is a sensible starting point rather than just looking at bare policy and may get to the root of your problem quicker.
