Bar Levy
Is a bar levy at a golf club enforceable? We have been asked to pay a levy of £100 on top of green fees (Senior Members only have to pay £50 even though they use the course and facilities more often). I rarely use the bar as my sole reason for being a member is to play golf.

tell them you will never use the bar...they may have some sort discount or waver in place...or perhaps they could start issuing coloured membership cards or badges or whatever that indicate where you are allowed to go...
cant hurt to try - dont ask you dont get...and they wont want to lose you or any other people as a customer, as i am sure others will feel the same....
you could perhaps gather a few other names for support...
but be prepared to be kicked out if you ever do decide to go in there.

Does your golf club allow you to offset the £100 levy against purchases of food and drink? At my club we pay £50 per year, as a minimum spend in the bar and restaurant, this was introduced as some members would occasionally go in for a cup of tea after a round of golf, spending very little over the course of a year, but of course would expect both the bar and restaurant to be staffed at all times, which led to operating losses due to wages, heating, lighting etc.
