I had been drinking on this particular day and I have a long history with the man that went to the police, a history of him being charged over 4 times of domestic violence against me n my children. He had just gotten out of jail 2wks prior to this day and he had slapped my phone out of my hand and I went off on him hitting him and he left my house and he had his mother take him to the police station but he was only there long enough to tell them my name and phone number which brought them to my house. I know now that I didn't have to talk to them but I was scarred they were gonna arrest me for assaulting him (my bf) so I let them in and told them I did not want to write a report 3 times and the officer asked me what happen n I told him n then he said ok that's assault n I was so mad at him I wrote it down and then by the time we went to court I felt bad that they were charging him with another domestic charge, when I was the aggressor this time, so I lied in court to the DA n said the phone wasn't in my hand when he slapped it n broke it n they arrested me n charged me with a class D Felony. I have never had any kind of record before and I can't afford an attorney. Please tell me if I should go back to the police or wait till court day n tell them that what I wrote was really the truth I just said it wasn't in my hand because I wanted him outta jail because when they charged him with this domestic it violated his probation and he went back to jail. I am just concerned about myself now please help me?

However, someone might be able to help so do come back and check.
