Is there any way to find out about recent magistrate hearings? Thanks.

yes, you can ring up and ask. they won't ask who you are as it's public information.

they may have a separate number for you to call for court results.

That's for that - is there anyway of looking on line (not sure of court and we are a bit hazy on first name)?

not that I know of, unless you get lucky googling.. perhaps if it made the local papers?

You will have difficulty obtaining details of Magistrates’ Courts’ hearings.

They are not available online and they are not held in the National Archives. Few courts hold their records within the court building. You will need to apply to the administration centre for the area in which the court sits. However, you will need to know some details of the case you are enquiring about (the court the case was heard, the name of the defendant, the date of the final hearing as a minimum). Even then the likelihood of you being able to secure the details you want is somewhat remote.
