My idiot friend broke in to his girfriends house the other day after waiting an hour for her to open the balcony door.

I am not sure exactly how he got there but he was arrested for criminal damage, bailed to go court this week.

The value of the window is £300.00 he was in trouble 6 years ago but has been good since then.

Probably a fine and/or community service. This is a minor offence unless there is more to the story.

Yes it a minor offence but im worried about him because hes really stressed.

@Planks yes she locked him out 3am when he went out for a cigarette just him in sleeping clothes, he stood there calling her to let him in for an hour and half till he broke the window.
If he lives there...if he was locked out in night wear and unable to get in for whatever reason and was not breaking in in a malicous manner....any solicitor would argue no crime..no contest.....just locked out wanting in !!!! no case to answer...
Could he get down from the balcony or was the only way back in through the building?
if so I think SHE should be paying for it! Silly cow... He must have been frozen to the spot.. and had patience enough to wait 90 mins for her!!!
