Some of you may remember a thread on here in April in which Lofty23 was wondering what he/she should do after finding £30000 in old £20 notes in the loft of a house he/she had recently moved into.

You get emails when you post a question to tell you you have a reply so it's more likely to get through than this Q factor, as it was the only thing he has ever posted =)

Thanks, ojread2- I'll try that. I know that when you reply on old threads (>1 month old) it doesn't bring the thread onto the latest posts lists and I'm not sure about emails- it's very hit and miss in my experience... in fact i rarely get them.
I wondered whether Lofty23 was still around but under a different name.

I tried posting on Lofty23's original thread as ojread2 suggested but Lofty23 hasn't replied.

I guess we'll never know whether this was a wind-up or whether Lofty23 successfully banked/spent the money, was charged with money laundering or was hunted down by the bankrobbers/drug dealers who wanted the money back
