I have read conflicting info. regarding what is required to renew your license at 70. One stated that you have to get your doctor to sign a form------the other stated that you simply declare your medical ability YOURSELF. Which is correct?

If you're fully healthy (and with good eyesight) you simply 'self certify'. If you declare any medical conditions, DVLA may then require you to obtain a medical certificate:
